Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija paid a working visit to Srebrenica, together with Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac, where he talked with the Municipality Major Mladen Grujičić. 


Chairman Tegeltija said that the success of BIH may be measured against the successfulness of its local communities, such Srebrenica is, which is itself a specific municipality. “Srebrenica needs new jobs and solving of some infrastructure problems that trouble this community for decades. We discussed it with the Major, namely, how to assist Srebrenica in the related efforts”, Chairman Tegeltija stated after the meeting with the Major. The Chairman of the Council of Ministers said that solving the issue of road infrastructure would solve the issue of connection with Serbia, adding that among the subjects discussed there were also the support to culture and sports projects, in addition to support to refugees and displaced persons.

Minister Košarec stated that the policy of the incumbent Council of Ministers is to preserve each job and strengthen the economy, and reminded that Srebrenica and Bratunac are known for growing rose berries.

In the context of that we should deliberate on re-categorisation of the border crossing in Skelani so that we may support the export-oriented companies“, Minister Košarac stressed.

Srebrenica Major Mladen Grujičić said the municipal representatives briefed Chairman Tegeltija and Minister Košarac on the projects in this local community, as well as on plans for future development.

Chairman Tegeltija and Minister Košarac met with representatives of the Srebrenica Municipality in the “Economic Containers” Company premises in Potočari.
