Working Visit to Bratunac

Chairman Tegeltija expressed his hope that the construction at the Bratunac-Ljubovija border-crossing will be finalised as planned, by March 2021, saying that the Council of Ministers will do its best to make the relevant institutions function at this border-crossing once it gets open.
At the first session of the Council of Ministers a decision was taken to set aside funds for construction of the Bratunac-Ljubovija border-crossing, which will most modern one in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In reminding that the whole project was undertaken in cooperation with Serbia, Chairman Tegeltija expressed his gratitude to Serbia for its readiness to construct the Bratoljub Bridge and to open this part of BIH toward Serbia, to the satisfaction of citizens of both countries.
He assessed that the local community is aware that such modern border-crossing and functioning bridge offer possibilities for development of economic activities and capacities.
Minister Košarac said Brtunac is the best example of good cooperation of Reublika Srpska and Serbia.
Major Mlađenović pointed at the importance of development of a free zone close to this border-crossing, underlining that Serbia is currently in the process of constructing a motorway from Valjevo to Sječina, which will enable better export conditions to entrepreneurs.
Chairman Tegeltija and Minister Košarac visited the Technical Overhaul Bratunac (TRB) and talked with Bratunac businessmen.
Chairman Tegeltija, after visiting the production lines and meeting with TRB Manager Slavenko Ristić, stated that it is about one of the most important companies in Bratunac, which has grown into a respectable company realising business results at the international market.
