Third High-Level Political Forum on European Integrations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Held in Sarajevo

The Third High-Level Political Forum was held in Sarajevo, co-chaired by Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto and European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi. 

Chairwoman Krišto thanked to Commissioner Varhelyi for support in the European integrations, as well as to all other participants of the Third Political Forum for a constructive and open discussion.

In her address to media, the Chairwoman pointed that, after holding the Political Forum, political commitment of all participants, representatives of BIH Institutions is undoubted when it comes to the European road, same as dedication to work on remaining reforms.  She said that a withdrawal of EUR1.8 billion tranche - a portion belonging to BIH under the EU Western Balkans Growth Plan – requires adoption of the Election Law, for which she is certain that political representatives and responsible Ministry will develop a Proposal Law and send it to the Council of Ministers of BIH for passing it down to the BIH Presidency.

European Commissioner Varhelyi said it is the time now when the whole country should fulfil obligations and take effort towards the European road, because European doors are open.

The Forum featured the Deputies Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH, Members of Collegia and Chairs of Clubs of Deputies and Delegates in both Chambers of the Parliamentarian Assembly of BIH, Prime Ministers of the Entities and ten Cantons in the Federation of BIH, and Mayor of the Brčko District of BIH.
