The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in an urgent session, following catastrophic aftermath of severe weather conditions that hit parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Chairwoman Krišto offered her condolences to families of victims, along with solidarity with all areas affected in our country.

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers Borjana Krišto urged Council of Ministers of BIH members to prepare urgently an extraordinary session dedicated to assistance to flood victims and rehabilitation from aftermaths. The Council of Ministers of BIH will activate all mechanisms available, including the EU Operative centre. It urged countries of the EU region to extend necessary assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to all-level competent bodies, Jablanica was most severely hit - fully cut off -as well as parts of Konjic, together with central Bosnia areas, where Kiseljak, Kreševo and Fojnica were most seriously hit.
Chairwoman Krišto thanked to Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković and Croatian Government for offering their assistance this morning.
Chairwoman Krišto thanked to EU Special Representative Luigi Soreci, who put the EU Office in Sarajevo capacities at disposal to revert to normal conditions as soon as possible, as well as to other EU Institutions and international friends who expressed their wish to help. (end)
