Tegeltija with IMF representatives

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zopran Tegeltija talked today via video link with both newly-appointed and previous Executive Directors of the International Monetary Fund Paul Hilbers and Anthony de Lannoy. 

The meeting discussed the continuation of cooperation in the context of opening of negotiations on a new arrangement to be of a great support for overcoming the economic and social crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemics.

Chairman Tegeltija stressed that the post-pandemic recovery will require a full engagement by all-level authorities in BIH, in order to improve the investment climate, and pointed at the importance of joint action in recovery efforts in health and real sectors, severely hit by the crisis.

Chairman Tegeltija thanked to previous Executive Director of IMF De Lanoy for good cooperation and support, and to newly-appointed Executive Director he wished happy and successful mandate.
