Tegeltija with Ambassador of Greece in BIH Papandreu

Chairman Tegeltija expressed his concern about a considerable inflow of migrants to BIH, having regard of the current developments in Turkey and Greece.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers reiterated that BIH does not dispose of sufficient capacities in security and humanitarian terms, including in accommodation possibilities, and stressed his expectations of an increased engagement by the international community in solving the migrant crisis-connected issues.
The Greek Ambassador briefed the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the current developments and issues faced by Greece when in question illegal migrants, on which he pointed at a necessity of coordination and joint cooperation of all security agencies in the region.
The meeting also discussed the other current topics, and it was mutually concluded that BIH and Greece have good and friendly relations without outstanding and contentious issues, with a high level of mutual understanding and shared positions on many issues of common interest, especially when it comes to maintaining stability in the region, and it was concluded that there are possibilities for further development of relations in the areas of shared interest.
