Tegeltija Talks with Zaev in Ohrid

The meeting, held on the eve of the “Western Balkans: Missing Puzzle for Completing Europe” International Conference, discussed the improvement of bilateral relations of BIH and North Macedonia, European integrations process, and promotion of trade exchange.
On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija reiterated the commitment of the Council of Ministers for European integrations, with a full regard of constitutional competences of all-level authorities and full respect of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Chairman Tegletija briefed Prime Minister Zaev on political and economic situation in BIH, and implementation of activities taken by all-level authorities with a view to overcome challenges of corona virus pandemics, in addition to improvoving business and economic ambience.
Assessing that although the European integrations process is demanding and difficult, confidence and good faith are core for fulfilment of commitments, they noted the interest of both countries for improvement of regional initiatives, in the context of better connection.
Following the bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers will meet, at the margins of the international conference, with Miroslav Jenča, Assistant UN Secretary-General for Europe, Central Asia and America. (end)
