Tegeltija Congratulates National Day of China

“It gives me honour and pleasure to extend, on behalf of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and my own, congratulations to you, leaders and all citizens of the People’s Republic of China the National Day of the People’s Republic of China.
The People’s Republic of China, under leadership of the Communist Party of China, has done a lot on its development, and extraordinary success achieved by China in all areas testifies of wisdom of its leadership and dedication of its people.
I’ve been honoured for having an opportunity to talk in Beijing with the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China on promotion of relations between our two countries, as well as to attend, upon an invitation by leadership the People’s Republic of China, one of the most important events, not only for China, but for the whole world - the opening of the Winter Olympic Games, in which more than 3,000 sportspersons from 109 countries took part - which were held in difficult conditions of Covid pandemics.
I am still under impression of aptness and strength of China to respond to such serious request, such as the organisation of the Olympic Games is, and I wish to congratulate again for the extraordinary organisation.
I would like to use the opportunity to express my appreciation for efforts the People’s Republic of China makes on promotion of peace and equality of all people and to thank for a continued support to citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A friendly relation between our countries is featured by mutual respect and good political, economic, cultural and cooperation in the area of education. This year, we mark the 10th Anniversary from a lunch of cooperation between China and Central and East European countries, which has proven that cooperation with China does not only contribute to the counties within the Initiative, but to relations of the European Union and China, in general.
Bosnia and Herzegovina remains committed to further promotion of cooperation between our two countries, for benefit of all our people, and we remain dedicated to strengthening of mutual cooperation and respect of the single China principle.
With best wishes for further development, progress and well-being of your country and the friendly people of China, I repeat to you sincere congratulations”, reads the congratulations note by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH. (end)
