Public Administration reform Coordination Board Holds tis Constituting Session

The session adopted a Rules of Procedure, and Ranka Papović, higher expert assistant for legal operations with the of the Public Administration Reform Coordinator's Office Legal Unit, was appointed the Board secretary for a two-year term.
The Coordination Board took note of the current situation in the public administration reform process, and gave a full support to its implementation, in accordance with a Public Administration Reform Strategic Framework and belonging Action Plan, and to realisation of 14 priorities form the European Commission Opinion, as well as to implementation of the Public Administration Reform Special Group recommendations.
The Council of Ministers of BIH, Governments of the Federation of BIH and Republika Srpska, and the Brčko District of BIH were invited to appoint members of the implementation structures, set-up by the Joint Platform on principles and ways of implementation of the public administration reform, and to include the relevant activities into their programmes.
Also, the Council of Ministers of BIH, Entity and the Brčko District of BIH Governments are urged to secure high financial support and strengthen, as soon as possible, capacities of the public administration reform coordinator.
The Coordination Board supported reactivation of the Fund for Public Administration Reform.
Coordinators form Entities and Brčko District of BIH with the Coordinator’s Office should continue talks with donors active in Bosnia and Herzegovina, so as to ensure investments and enable effective donor coordination mechanism to the end of securing financial coverage of their activities within time frame set by the Revised Action plan, and subsequent reform activities.
