Newly-Appointed Chairwoman of CoMBIH Krišto in Davos Talks with President of Serbia Vučić

Newly-Appointed Chairwomen of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto stays in Davos at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum. With the record high number of businessmen and government leaders participating, the Economic Forum discussed the global economics looks and numerous challenges, like climate changes, energy, social and financial crises. 

On this occasion, Chairwoman Krišto held a bilateral meeting with President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, who congratulated her for her appointment.

The officials discussed economic and all other themes of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia, and ways to improve the cooperation. To the end of further strengthening and development, especially of economic relations and links between the two countries, as well as within the region, Chairwoman Krišto invited President Vučić to be guest at this year’s, 24th international economic fair to be held in Mostar in early May, recalling a successful partnership the Republic of Serbia realised with Mostar Fair in 2018.

The meeting also discussed the issues of accession to the European Union, and required steps ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia.

Newly-Appointed Chairwoman noted once again the importance of quick establishment of the executive and legislative all-level authorities in BIH, as well as strengthening of BIH institutional functionality, in order to get focused at reforms key to the European road of BIH.

President Vučić noted his understanding for clearly declared aims for the European Union membership, which implies equality of constitutive people and other people in BIH, to contribute to securing political stability in BIH. (end)
