Meeting Krišto, Čović, Vučić on Eve of 25th Mostar Economic Fair

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto and Vice-Chairman of BIH Parliamentarian Assembly House of People Dragan Čović with their delegations talked with President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, on the eve of the 25th International Economic Fair in Mostar, on promotion of bilateral relations, economic cooperation, and the general situation in the region. 

The meting confirmed friendly relations and good institutional cooperation between the two countries.

Chairwoman Krišto said she is looking forward to implementation of a project she discussed with President Vučić three months ago at the World Economic Forum in Davos, adding that linking of Belgrade and Mostar will contribute to economic and touristic development of the entire Herzegovina.

The meeting also discussed the current political-economic developments in BIH and the region. Chairwoman Krišto stressed that the Council of Ministers of BIH has made, through policy of continuing dialogue, compromise, and consensus by legitimate representatives of constitutive people, a historic breakthrough for Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European road, as recognised by the European Commission, extending a recommendation for opening of accession negotiations for our country.

Chairwoman Krišto had previously welcomed President of Serbia Vučić at the Mostar Airport, thus marking the establishing of a direct airline between Belgrade and Mostar. On that occasion, she said that the direct airline between Belgrade and Mostar has a multiple relevance for Mostar and the hole of BIH, as well as for development of economy and tourism.

President Vučić said that the first “Air Serbia” flight  on Belgrade-Mostar line, with which he flew to Mostar, is a great step for the city, Herzegovina, Belgrade and the whole BIH and Serbia. He assessed that the airline will, besides its practical importance, link additionally business communities, meaning more business partners operating.
