Krišto with IMF Delegation

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with the International Monetary Fund delegation, led by IMF Mission Chief Alina Iancu. 

They discussed the current economic issues in Bosnia and Hrzegovina and the region in the light of accelerated European road of our country and implementation of necessary structural reforms.

Chairwoman Krišto expressed her thankfulness for the IMF support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, noting her expectation to continue cooperation to mutual benefit. She stressed the importance of technical support by the IMF to our country in reform processes, maintenance of fiscal stability and overcoming global financial and economic challenges. She confirmed commitment of the Council of Ministers of BIH to fulfil 14 priorities from the European Commission Opinion, adding that European integrations have no alternative for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairwoman Krišto said Bosnia and Herzegovina is a fiscally stable state, and that economy shows stable signs of post-global pandemic recovery. (end)
