02/20/2024
Chairwoman Krišto briefed Commissioner Varhelyi on a progress made by Bosnia and Herzegovina in fulfilling 8+1 requirements, i.e. 14 key priorities.
She stressed that the achieved progress was result primarily of good policies run with a clear vision and aim, and continuous dialogue by legitimate political representatives of constitutive people. She added hat support and encouraging signals from Brussels incite commitment by the Council of Ministers of BIH and boost motivation by political leaders to step-up the European integrations process.
The Chairwoman underlined that the Council of Ministers of BIH remains focused at fulfilment of the remaining obligations so that our country would achieve its full potential and become stable, prosperous and full member of the EU. She said that BIH is in the key phase on the European road, where imperative is continuation of the reform process, which is our moral and practical imperative for development of better future for all of us in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She expressed her personal confidence that the EU institutions would recognise the progress achieved.
Chairwoman Krišto met earlier with members of the EU General Affairs Council.
