Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto visited Sinj (Republic of Croatia), at an invitation by the Sinj Knight Association, where she attended a traditional festival Sinjska Alka. 

Chairwoman Krišto vowed her support to further maintenance and promotion of Croatian cultural heritage, namely the traditional Alka game. She emphasised that her presence reflects the importance of preservation of cultural variety and tradition in the region, as well as cooperation with the neighbouring Republic of Croatia, and it confirms a strong and friendly connectedness between the two states.

On this occasion, the hosts briefed Chairwoman Krišto about cultural and traditional heritage of Sinjska Alka, which represents an exceptionally important part of cultural identity of the Republic of Croatia and region, which is under UNESCO protection, as a part of the world cultural heritage.

At the margins of the event, Chairwoman Krišto talked with the Republic of Croatia officials, President of Parliament of Croatia Gordan Jandroković, President of Government Andrej Plenković, and President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović on promotion of bilateral relations and Croatian support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on tis European road.

Accompanying the Sinjska Alka host, Miro Bulja, other invitees included President of Hungary Katalina Novak. (end)
