10/13/2022
Chairman Tegeltija stated that the European Commission Report on Progress in BIH over a year time span was not objective and featured by strict assessments.
„The European Commission is a very strict judge for BIH, and in some instances unfoundedly so. I think that some positions were tendentious and harming the internal structure of BIH, in a way that an ethnic group and „Entity“ were again under spotlight”, Chairman Tegeltija said at a press conference.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers thanked to the Head of the EU Delegation for good news from Brussels on a recommendation to award BIH a candidate status. He said that he had expected such decision to be taken one year ago, however, it happened today.
He assessed that the candidate status means for citizens of BIH an additional perspective and possibilities, yet its positive effects are to be waited for avail.
