Council of Ministers Chairwoman Opens „Ivo Gurgurević“ Days of Croat Film

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto opened the 29th Days of Croat Film “Ivo Gurgurević” in Orašje. 

On that occasion, Chairwoman Krišto said the event becomes each year more relevant symbol of cultural connection and promotion of Croat identity, not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but beyond, as well.

In her address, Chairwoman Krišto revived memory on founder of the festival, Ivo Grgurević, an actor.

“One cannot be here in Orašje, without remembering great Ivo Grgurević, whose vision, energy and devotion laid foundations of this beautiful event. Ivo’s spirit is still present in Orašje, not only though numerous deeds that are left after him, but also though his heritage in the film festival, that he had brought to his birth place”, Krišto stressed.

At the end of her address, she congratulated to the organisers, who remind all in BIH, through thissubstantive event, at the importance of art, film and culture. (end)
