Council of Ministers Chairwoman Krišto with BIH printed Media Managers

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with editors-in-chief and managers of printed media in BIH 

 

The reception with the Chairwoman was attended by Vildana Selimbegović (“Oslobođenje”), Indira Ćatić (“Avaz Roto press”), Jozo Pavković (“Večernji List”), Sandra Gojković-Arbutim (“Nezavisne Novine”), and Borjana Rdmanović-Petrović (“Glas Srpske”).

The editors-in-chief presented key challenges med by the most renowned media in Bosnia and Herzegovina and they noted a need for introduction of a support system, similar to those in European countries, in order to persevere printed media industry.

Chairwoman Krišto underlined the importance of preserving independence, freedom and pluralism with media, which are key t o rule of law, according to the European Commission report. (end)
