Constituting Meeting of BIH Work Team for Development of Reforms Plan for Western Balkans Growth Plan

Chairwoman Krišto briefed members of the Work Team of activities having had been taken by an ad hoc Work Group for development of an initial Reforms Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina, earlier passed to the European Commission, as a foundation for developing an indicative list of projects and priorities.
It is about a document featuring four priorities, namely: Green agenda and digital transition; Private sector and business environment development; Development and keeping of human capital; and Rule of law.
Chairwoman Krišto suggested that a dialogue with the European Commission should urgently define final Reform Agenda, listing all reforms and investment projects, and finances required for the implementation thereof. The process will be run throughout the way by the BIH Work Team for Reforms Plan Development for the Western Balkans Growth Plan.
The session agreed the Work Team Rules of Procedure.
The Work Team includes representatives from the Governments of the Federation of BIH and Republika Srpska Nermin Nikšić and Radovan Višković, respectively, and State Ministers of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac, of Communication and Transport Edin Forto, Finance and Treasury Srđan Amidžić, of Justice Davor Bunoza, as well as Entity Finance Ministers Toni Kraljević and Zora Vidović, respectively. The Work Team includes also 10 Cantonal Prime Ministers, namely, Predrag Čović, Marija Buhač, Tahir Lendo, Ivan Vukadin, Nihad Uk, Edin Ćulov, Ifran Halilagić, Đuro Topić, Nezir Pivić, and Nijaz Hušoć, in addition to Brčko District of BIH Mayor Ziijad Nišić and Directors of the Directorates for Economic Planning and for European Integrations, Zoan Zeljko and Elvira Habota, respectively.
