Chairwoman with Prime Ministers of Moldova and Montenegro in Davos

At meeting with Prime minister of Moldova, bilateral relations were noted as good and with no outstanding issues, but with mutual interest and readiness for further improvement of cooperation in education, science, culture and sports, in addition to cooperation of chambers of commerce. A need was highlighted for more frequent high-level meetings of the two states, sharing their foreign policy aim -membership in the European Union.
Chairwoman Krišto stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina is undoubtedly committed to its membership in the EU and fulfilment of key priorities set in the European Commission Opinion. She added that BIH is devoted to its road to the EU, seeing it as an opportunity for creation of a abetter social environment, economic development and political stability for all constitutive people and other living in BIH. She believes that the Western Balkans is of a strategic interest for the EU, adding her expectation of continued relevant support to the region.
During her meeting with Prime Minister of Montenegro, Chairwoman Krišto congratulated once again to Prime Minister Spajić for taking over his duty in the Government. She said that bilateral cooperation develops successfully at all levels. She stressed that the Council of Ministers remains committed to further strengthening of bilateral relations with Montenegro through infrastructural and economic linkage, cooperation in energy, tourism, science and education, as well as through cooperation through regional initiatives and international organisations.
Chairwoman Krišto underlined that the European integration and regional cooperation are strategic priorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and reaffirmed BIH commitment to all processes aiming improvement of political dialogue and good neighbourly relations, for the aim of stability and economic prosperity and ultimate benefit of all citizens in the Western Balkans.
