Chairwoman Talks with Sarajevo NATO HQ Commander McGaha

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo today with NATO HQ Commander Brigadier-General Pamela McGaha. 

Chairwoman Krišto expressed her thankfulness to NATO HQ in Sarajevo for a continuous support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in its defence sector reform, NATO integrations process and contribution to overall security and stability of BIH. Assessing that cooperation with NATO HQ is of great relevance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, she stressed that a full-fledged membership in NATO Alliance remains one among key foreign policy priorities of BIH.

The meeting noted the importance of continuation of Development and Modernisation Programme of the Armed Forces of BIH, as well as continued participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in joint peace operations together with NATO members.

NATO HQ in Sarajevo Commander Brigadier-General McGaha congratlated to Chairwoman Krišto for her appointment and expressed her confidence about additional intensification of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and NATO.(end)
