Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto Receives EU Special Representative in BIH Sattler in Farewell Visit

Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto and Special Eu Representative in BIH Johan Sattler met in Sarajevo. Ambassador Sattler leaves his position of Special EU representative in BIH, so today’s meeting was of a farewell nature. 

Chairwoman Krišto thanked to Ambassador Sattler for an excellent cooperation, underlining his personal role, in his capacity of the EU Special Representative, on the European road of our country.

Dialogue and commitment to work of the Council of Ministers and EU Representative Office in BIH have proven to be an important cooperation framework for Bosnia and Herzegovina to get its historic green light for opening of negotiations, as a key precondition towards the full EU membership.

Reform processes started by the incumbent Council of Ministers, led by Chairwoman Krišto, must maintain continuity and dynamics, today’s meeting concluded.

Open political issues, like the BIH Election Law, will be equally important in the whole process of implementation of a wider set of European legislation and norms, Chairwoman Krišto said.

At the end oof today’s meeting, Chairwoman Krišto thanked once again to Ambassador Sattler for the role he has had, wishing him happiness and success in his further diplomatic carrier. (end)
