Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto Opens NATO Symposium

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a host of NATO Symposium, which was opened by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto. In her address, Chairwoman Krišto pointed at the importance of defence and security policies, which our country needs to keep up-grading within competent institutions. 

She sent a clear message on how Bosnia and Herzegovina is a reliable partner, working diligently on development of stable and functional bases in all key segments, following good practice of developed European countries.

Krišto also highlighted an importance of joint responsibility in maintenance and promotion of European values and continuation of a comprehensive cooperation with NATO, which will  deepen both as a part of modernisation of the Armed Forces of BIH and through strategic documents of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Following the opening of the NATO Symposium first panel, Chairwoman Krišto met with Javier Colomin, Acting Assistance Secretary-General for Political Issues and Security Policy and Special Representative of NATO Secretary-General for Southern Neighbourhood.

Chairwoman Krišto expressed the importance of joint activities and further comprehensive cooperation of domestic institutions with NATO. Despite all global and geopolitical challenges, Bosnia and Herzegovina is inevitable and reliable partner, working diligently in regional stability.
