Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto Met with President of Republic of Albania Bajram Bagaj during His Official Visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina 

The meeting emphasised the visit takes place in a key moment for both countries, considering shared European aspirations and ambitions. Chairwoman Krišto highlighted her belief that it will strengthen additionally friendly relations and promote cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Albania.

Krišto also congratulated to President Begaj for a successful inter-government conference, by which Albania has become the first state to open accession negotiations according to a new methodology. In that context, she briefed President Begaj on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s intention to organise its first inter-government conference with the European Union, to conform additionally commitment of BIH to the European road.

President Begaj expressed his strong support to the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina, pointing out that efforts on achieving a full membership of BIH in the EU will bring long-term benefits, not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina but for the whole region. (end)
