Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto in Meeting with US Ambassador Murphy

A meeting was held in Sarajevo today between Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto and US Ambassador Michael Murphy. At he in set of today’s meeting, Chairwoman Krišto expressed her sympathy and condolence regarding horrifying fire and victims thereof in Los Angeles and wider aera of California. 

Chairwoman Krišto briefed the Ambassador of activities the council of Ministers took in the end of last year, especially two reform European laws to be on agenda of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentarian Assembly of BIH. Commitment to fulfilment of all reforms on the European way must be the frame of work of the Council of Ministers, especially in non-election year, when released from election processes, political stakeholders may take key breakthroughs, primarily in the election law reform.

Beyond reforms implementation, our aim is to set term for a soon holding oof an inter-government conference, by which Bosnia and Herzegovina would practically move into negotiation process with the EU.

The Council of Ministers continues its cooperation with all institutions of the USA, as our proven friend and partner, in order to accelerate progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Euro-Atlantic  way and full membership in the EU. (end)
