Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto Attends 309th Sinjska Alka

Chairwoman Krišto attended a traditional event Sinjska Alka in Croatia, together with numerous high invitees. 

The Chairwoman started her call by visit to Sinjska Mother of God Monastery, where, accompanied by President of the Croatian Assembly Gordan Jandroković, President of the Republic of Croatia Government Andrej Plenković and Ministers, she was welcomed by Monastery Abbot and President of the Alka Knight Association Stejpan Jukić and Splitsko-Dalmatinska Perfect Blaženko Boban.

This was followed by Krišto’s reception at Duke in Alkarski court, after which all guests proceeded to the racetrack.

Chairwoman Krišto stressed her presence, this year too, reflects the importance of maintaining cultural diversity and tradition in the region, cooperation with the neighbouring Republic of Croatia, as well as a strong and friendly connectedness of the two states, proven by a firm commitment to perseverance of all cultural values of the Croatian people.

On this occasion, the hosts briefed Chairwoman Krišto with a rich cultural heritage of Sinjska Alka, which represents an extremely important part of cultural identity of the Republic of Croatia and the region, which is under UNESCO protection as a part of world cultural heritage. (end)
