Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto at “Western Balkans Diplomatic Dialogue“ panel in Davos

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto took part at a “Westen Balkans Diplomatic Dialogue” panel, devoted to our region, together with regional and European officials, at the World economic Forum in Davos. 

Chairwoman Krišto emphasised such diplomatic level meeting is an opportunity to open with our friends relevant topics and send meaningful message of its importance for the whole region and integration thereof into the community of European people, full members of the EU. 

Chairwoman noted all breakthroughs and reforms our country has made since last meeting in Davos, when BIH institutions have worked diligently to arrive at the opening of negotiations process, from which we are away just a few steps, needed to send a strong message.

Chairwoman Krišto underlined the importance of continuous reforms so that a dynamics should be set so that in this non-election year we can show strength and willingness of domestic institutions to embark on new results on the European path.

With the implementation of the remaining reforms expected form us by the EU institutions, the year 2025 is an opportunity for BIH domestic representatives to show sufficient level of democratic maturity and send a message that we deserve to be a constituent part and full member of the EU, Chairwoman Kritšto concluded. (end)
