Chairwoman of CoMBIH Krišto with President of European Parliament Metsola

Newly-appointed Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto (WEF) in Davos, held a meeting with President of the European Parliament Roberat Metsola. 

The two officials talked about the European road and EU candidate status of Bosnia and Herzegovina, political situation after the General Elections of October 2022, up-coming reforms on the European road, and economic situation in BIH. They also discussed women representation in political life and leader positions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Krišto a noted deep satisfaction with the achieved breakthrough in terms of achievement of the EU candidate status for BIH. She also stressed her thankfulness to all European partners, member-states and EU institutions for dedication to such aim, noting her expectation for a more intensive cooperation in all areas on the reform exercise ahead.

Krišto said that stabilisation of internal developments us a key element for achievement of general and speeded progress, expressing her pleasure with a constructive political dialogue and efforts towards a quick establishment of authorities.

Simultaneously, eco9nomic situations in Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed, with a turn to uncertainties caused by global disturbances and challenges.

Also, the officials discussed priorities and ways of securing brighter future to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. (end)
