Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with Head of Office of the World Bank for BIH and Montenegro Christopher Sheldon on continuation of significant projects in our country.
Chairwoman Krišto thanked for support thus far
and investments by the World Bank to our country, especially during the
reconstruction phase when the World Bank has had a significant role in
recovering basic infrastructure and services, with creation of conditions for
sustainable return of refugees and displaced persons, and social growth and employment.
They discussed dynamics of on-going projects implementation, directed to boosting private sector yielding growth and employment, institutional and governance strengthening, including public sector reforms and measures at mitigation of global economic crisis effects. These are project relevant to population in Bosnia and Herzegovina, since they refer to solution-finding to numerous issues of local communities, and include also major infrastructure projects.
Chairwoman said she expects cooperation with the World Bank wold bring about goods results and new investments in time ahead. (end)
