Chairwoman Krišto with Trade Unions Delegation

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto and representatives of trade unions with the Council of Ministers of BIH talked on trade unions request for opening of a collective bargaining process. 

The meeting agreed for a soon formation of negotiating teams and follow-up negotiations for the aim of achieving a higher level of consensus on text future collective agreements, having regard of the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina has no signed-to collective agreement with employees at the level of the BIH Institutions.

The meeting with representatives of Independent Trade Union of Civil Servants and Employees in BIH Institutions, Trade Union of Police Bodies in BIH, and Trade Union of the Indirect Taxation Administration, emphasised the importance of an open dialogue for all issue-solving processes, based on solid foundations.

Chairwoman Krišto expressed her understanding as to issues presented by the trade union delegations, stressing that the Council of Ministers of BIH and trade unions of employees with the institutions are partners who need to work together on regulation and strengthening of rights of employees with the BIH Institutions. (end)
