Chairwoman Krišto with Special Envoy of Germany Government Sarrazin

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with of the FR Germany Government Western Balkans Special Evoy Manuel Sarrazin on topical issues, with a special accent to the European way of BIH. 

Chairwoman Krišto thanked for the German support for opening of the accession negotiations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union.

She emphasised that yesterday’s imposition of a decision on amendments and supplements to the BIH Election Law by the High Representative is an unexpected challenge to which we need to find response in away not to endanger our European road and to secure work of the BIH Institutions, since these are rightly responsible for all decision-taking, including, especially those concerning the election reform.

At the end of the meeting, Chairwoman Krišto said she expects Germany to give support to solutions which would result from work of the BIH Institutions, since it is the only way to make a necessary breakthrough on our European road.(end)
