Chairwoman Krišto with Managers of Police and Security Agencies of BIH

Meeting of Chairwoman of the council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto with managers if police and security agencies at the level of BIH Institutions discussed the current political-security situation, with a special emphasis at the law implementation from their terms of reference. 

In that regard, overall security situation was analysed in the context of operation of these agencies and directorates.

Manager of all relevant agencies and directorates emphasised that the security situation is stable and peaceful with no signs of violation.

They turned to a successful cooperation and coordination among agencies and other police bodies responsible doe security, as well as with other bodies in charge for security, in addition to international cooperation.

Therefore, aware of the role and responsibility in line with the Constitution of BIH and legislation defining competences of police agencies and directorates of the BIH level and Security-Intelligence Agency, responsible operations and acting in a full capacity were confirmed to continue according to principles of independence, professionalism and unbiasedly.

This way only we can secure and protect functioning of Institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and contribute to political stability and progressing along the European road.

Due to the importance of objective informing the public, it was assessed as very important for media to check pieces of information they receive before publication thereof, concerning the current political-security aspect.

The meeting with the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH was attended by the following: Deputy Minister of Security of BIH; Director of the State Investigations and Security Agency (SIPA); Director and two Deputy Directors of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies in BIH; Director and Deputy Director of State Border Police of BIH; Director, Deputy Director and Assistant for Internal Control of the Foreigner Affairs Service; Director and Deputy Director of the Agency for Forensic Issues and Research; Director of the Agency for Police Support and Agency for Staff Schooling and Professional Up-Grading; and Deputy Director and Chief Inspector of the Intelligence-Security Agency of BIH.
