Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Yoko Kamikawa in Sarajevo today. The meeting of the two high political officials pointed at excellent bilateral relations and continuous cooperation in different areas. 

Today’s meeting discussed numerous issues of a shared interest, ranging from agriculture to technological cooperation, culture and cooperation in internation la arena. The high technological development of Japan and potential investments by Japanese investors may contribute to an accelerated development of all branches of economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairwoman Krišto briefed Minister Kamikawa of the European road of Bosnia and Herzegovina and relevant efforts taken, and especially of the negotiating process ahead of us. The European future and overall integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina that will lead to a full membership in the Eu have no alternative, Chairwoman Krišto underlined at today’s meeting.

The Foreign Minister of Japan also expressed a strong support and role of Bosnia and Herzegovina for development of the whole region, and confirmed readiness of Japan to continue to extend assistance and support in different areas.

The meeting confirmed additionally dedication of both countries to development for a long lasting partnership, based on mutual confidence and shared values, Chairwoman Krišto and Minister Kamikawa concluded at today’s meeting. (end)
