Chairwoman Krišto with EBRD Office for BIH Director Naessl

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with Director of the Office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for BIH Manuela Naessl on improvement of cooperation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with this financial institution, and implementation of the Western Balkans Growth Plan. 

The meeting pointed that Bosnia and Herzegovina and EBRD made a very successful cooperation recently in all areas, primarily in electric-power sector, in addition to transport sector, financial and public utilities sectors.

Chairwoman Krišto expressed her thankfulness to EBRD for its continuous support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially on development of relevant infrastructure projects, key for inclusion of BIH into regional transport infrastructure, She said she is pleased for the EBRD Steering Board approved last year several projects relevant for Bosnia and Herzegovina, such as the Corridor V c: Mostar North – Mostar South, for which a Project Agreement was signed, and E-Mobility Sarajevo Public Transportation Project.

Finaly, Chairwoman Krišto said that we expect EBRD support in green transition boosting projects, in projects of strengthening private sector, enterprise competitiveness, as well as in many projects to ensure high power system security and better energy efficacy. (end)
