Chairwoman Krišto with Deputy Chairmen and Sattler

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto, together with her Deputies, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac and Minister of Defence Zukan Helez, held a meeting with Head of the European Union Delegation in BIH and EU Special Representative in BIH Ambassador Johann Sattler. 

The meeting discussed realisation of key priorities along the road towards the membership of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European Union. Chairwoman Krišto stressed she expects a concrete recognition of achievements by way of setting the exact date of start of EU accession negotiations during this March.

The Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH said she expects continuation of European support to intensifying internal dialogue by political leaders, as well as support to authentic domestic solutions.

The meeting also discussed the European Western Balkans Growth Plan, and Chairwoman Krišto briefed Ambassador Sattler on recently held constituting session of a Work Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina for development of a Reforms Plan for implementation of the Western Balkans Growth Plan. She stressed that a dialogue with the European Union should yield  quickly a final reform agenda, implying all investment projects and required finances for implementation thereof.

The Growth Plan was concluded to represent an historic opportunity to enable promotion of domestic economy and support to accelerated EU accession process. (end)
