Chairwoman Krišto with Delegation of Red Cross of BIH

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Kišto received in Sarajevo a delegation of the Red Cross of BIH, led by its president Marko Sinanović. 

The Red Cross delegation briefed Chairwoman Krišto on activities of the Red Cross of BIH, as an organisation of special social interest for Bosnia and Herzegovina and all of its citizens. They discussed on-going projects, aiming strengthening of capacities for preparation, response and recovery form natural and other disasters, public-health threats, together with improvement of well-fare position of population of BIH.

Chairwoman Krišto said the Council of Ministers of BIH recognises the Association of Red Cross of BIH as an important partner in dealing with humanitarian issues, especially in cases of natural and other disasters.

The Council of Ministers of BIH, at tis 5^th session, took a decision on transfer of ownership over fixed resources, under which the Ministry of Security of BIH is enabled to transfer without fees the right of ownership over motor vehicles „Fiat Ducato“  to the Association of Red Cross of BIH. (end)
