Chairwoman Krišto with Ambassador Sattler

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with Head of the European Union Delegation in BIH and EU Special Representative in BIH Ambassador Johann Sattler on a Growth Plan, a new EU Western Balkans Investment Package. 

The meeting stressed that the Growth Plan was designed as a support to economic growth of our country through approximation to the EU Single Market and for the aim of acceleration of BIH progressing towards a full EU membership. It is EUR 6 billion investment package, consisting of EUR 2 billion grants and EUR 4 billion loans, classified into four pillars, namely, for introducing BIH into the EU Single Market, for completion of the Single Regional Market, for speeding-up fundamental reforms, and the fourth one is for an increase of pre-accession funds.

Chairwoman Krišto said the Growth Plan will certainly serve as additional incentive for acceleration of the European integrations process in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as in the region. (end)
