Chairwoman Krišto with Ambassador of Kingdom of Norway in BIH Reinertsen

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in BIH Olav Reinertsen. The meeting stressed that relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Norway are good and friendly, and without outstanding issues. 

Ambassador Reinersten said Norway will continue its strong support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European way, adding that accelerated reforms are notable, as are efforts by BIH to join the European family as early as possible.

The Chairwoman followed-up the remark, emphasising that for the aim of stability and strengthening of democracy and rule of law in BIH, a limited amendment of the Constitution and whole Election Law are required, the way to secure a genuine constitutional equality of all three constitutive people and remove discrimination against other citizens of BIH. Therefore it needs to implement a relevant decision of the Constitutional Court of BIH on legitimate representation of constitutive people at all administrative-political levels, including implementation of the European Court for Human Rights award, thus completing the process to take us closer to the European Union.
