Chairwoman Krišto with Ambassador of Great Britain in BIH Reilley

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto received in an introductory visit Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in BIH Julian Reilley. 

They discussed improvement of bilateral relations, particularly economic cooperation, and exchanged views on current developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairwoman Krišto expressed her thankfulness to Great Britain for support to our country, and underlined commitment of the Council of Ministers od BIH to British-German Initiative – Berlin Process – as the main mechanism of the Western Balkan counties for entering a society of competitive and stable European states. She emphasised that the Euro-Atlantic road of Bosnia and Herzegovina has no alternative, adding that priorities of operation of the Council of Ministers of BIH are reforms necessary to step-up the exercise, to include, besides 14 priorities, limited amendment of the Constitution of BIH and amendments and supplements to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in line with the Constitutional Court of BIH Award and awards by the European Court for Human Rights.

Ambassador Reilley noted support of Great Britain to the Euro-Atlantic road of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to regional cooperation He congratulated to Chairwoman Krišto for her appointment, wishing her success in her work. (end)
