Chairwoman Krišto Talks with Hungarian President Novak

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with President of Hungary Katalin Novak on European way of Bosnia and Herzegovina and on further improvement of bilateral relations. 

Chairwoman Krišto said the Council of Ministers of BIH is aware of challenges ahead of our country but is decisive and it works diligently on realisation of 8+1 requirements, i.e. 14 key priorities on the road to the EU membership. She stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina expects from Brussels getting this March an exact date for opening of negotiations.

Krišto thanked to President Novak for support the friendly Hungary extends to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European road.

She emphasised that she believes Hungary will, during its presidency of the Council of Europe in the second half of 2024, continue to support Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the whole region, in the enlargement process.

They exchanged opinions on modalities of strengthening of economic cooperation in other aeras, beneficial to both countries. (end)
