Chairwoman Krišto Talks with Ambassador of Ukraine for BIH Kyrylych

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with Non-Resident Ambassador of Ukraine for BIH Vasyl Kyrylych. 

Chairwoman Krišto expressed support of Bosnia and Herzegovina to territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. She emphasised that all disputes need to be solved peacefully, with regard of basic principles of international law. She stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina will, in accordance with obligations took over on its European road, continue harmonising its foreign policy with that of the European Union and its friends USA and Great Britain. She added that Bosnia and Herzegovina will, according to its capabilities, continue to offer support to the Ukrainian people.

Ambassador Kyrylych thanked to Chairwoman Krišto for support to Ukraine, which is faced by huge devastation during Russian aggression, and he underlined that the Ukrainian people is encouraged by support coming from around the world.

Chairwoman Krišto briefed Ambassador Kyrylych of the current political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is in an ongoing reform process, as a long.-term political stability and economic progress is sought to be achieved. She emphasised that the main foreign policy aims of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the European Union and NATO integrations. (end)
