Chairwoman Krišto Talks with Ambassador of Sweden Strӧmquist

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked in Sarajevo with Ambassador of Sweden in BIH Johanna Strӧmquist on promotion of cooperation, having regard of the fact that Sweden currently chairs the EU Council. 

The meeting emphasised that the two friendly countries have good bilateral cooperation. Chairwoman Krišto briefed Ambassador Strӧmquist of the current political-social developments in BIH, processes of setting-up all-level authority, and of priorities in work of the Council of Ministers of BIH. She underlined unambiguous commitment to Euro-Atlantic road of our country, expressing her expectations as to a strong support by Sweden on that road.

Chairwoman Krišto thanked to Ambassador Strӧmquist  to a continuous support of Sweden to BIH Institutions and civil sector in BIH, and noted BIH interest for intensification od economic cooperation, especially in the area of renewable sources of energy, where Sweden has knowledge, and our country has untapped space for development.

Ambassador Strӧmquist congratulated to Chairwoman Krišto to her appointment and to a fact that she is the first woman in the lead of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She welcomed the European dedication of the Council of Ministers of BIH, and stressed Swedish support to reform processes and European integrations.(end)
