Chairwoman Krišto Sents support to Herzegovina Association of Producers and Olive Growers, Congratulating for “Golden Drops of Herzegovina” Guarantee Seal

The Federal Agro-Mediterranean Institute organised a solemn handing over of a Decision on Protected Designation of Origin for extra virgin olive oil from Herzegovina and promotion of a “Golden Dops of Herzegovina” guarantee seal. 

Such success will contribute to promotion and strengthening of Bosnia and Herzegovina products at European market, in addition to perseverance and development of traditional olive growing and production of olive oil in Herzegovina.

The branding of extra virgin olive oil and promotion to other markets will lead to standardisation, already visible in the area. Olive and olive oil is a recognition mark of Herzegovina region, and of Bosnia and Herzegovina in broader terms. (end)
