Chairwoman Krišto Receives Ambassador Toudic in Farewell Visit

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto received in a farewell visit today Ambassador of the French Republic in BIH Christine Toudic. 

The Chairwoman expressed her thankfulness to France and Ambassador Toudic for their role in supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina to get a candidate status for membership in the EU. She assessed as encouraging both understanding of positions of France as to policy of enlargement to the Western Balkans and acknowledging of need for reform of the EU. Relations between the two countries are viewed as very good and without outstanding issues, while there is a need for promotion of further cooperation, especially in the areas of economy, culture and in welcoming French companies to market of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Chairwoman reminded Ambassador Toudic of priorities and focus of activities of the Council of Ministers and of other institutions in BIH, adding that those will remain fulfilment of 14 key priorities from the European Commission Opinion, including continuation of cooperation with the European Union and its institutions.

At the end of the meeting, Chairwoman Krišto thanked again to Ambassador Toudic for her efforts and support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and wished her success in her further work. (end)
