Chairwoman Krišto nad Prime Minister Plenković Laid Foundation Stone of „Ivan Goran Kovačić“ Elementary School in Fojnica

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers od BIH Borjana Krišto and President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković laid corner stone of the „Ivan Goran Kovačić“ Elementary School in Fojnica, thus the construction works of the school, kinder garden and sports hall begun. 

Chairwoman Krišto emphasised multiply significance of the project for the local community.

„Both children and teachers will enjoy better conditions for work, education and up-bringing“, Krišto stressed.

Prime Minister Plenković said in his address to the gathering that he was particularly pleased by children faces and traditional dresses they wore and by a fact that they are happy for getting a new school.

„Schools are key to future of every country, so they are of BIH, as well, especially here in Central Bosnia, for youth to have a possibility for  high quality education and development“, Plenković said.

He congratulated to all engaged in preparation and development of the project, and said there is readiness for continuation of the project co-financing.

Krišto and Plenković visited Monastery of Holy Spirit and Museum in Fojnica, within the work visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. (end)
