Chairwoman Krišto in Meeting with German Minister for Europe ana Climate Lührmann

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto talked with German Federal Minister for Europe and Climate Ann Lührmann on European integrations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany. 

Chairwoman Krišto expressed her thankfulness to the Federal Republic of Germany for a strong support to European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She pointed at an extreme importance of decision-taking on opening of the accession negotiations at the European Council meeting this March.

For that aim, according to Krišto, the Council of Ministers of BIH remains focused at fulfilment of necessary reforms from 8+1 requirements, i.e. 14 priorities form the European Commission Opinion.

The Chairwoman briefed the Minister on current activities for development of a Reform Plan for the Western Balkans Growth Plan. She also informed the Minister of an active effort at development of a modern, competitive, and ecologically and climate sustainable energy sector.

At the end of the meeting, Chairwoman underlined that only open dialogue and consensus in decision-making by institutions and bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with respect of constitutional structure and all-level institutions competences may secure permanent stability, prosperity and necessary reforms implementation.
