Chairwoman Krišto at Royal Reception in London

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto attended a royal reception held regarding the up-coming ceremony of coronation of the British King Charles III, in London. 

At the margins of the event, she met with President of the European Council Charles Michel, President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

In several meetings, Chairwoman Krišto briefed European officials on results of the new Council of Ministers in the first 100 days of its term.

She pointed out important breakthroughs in work, verified by adoption of more than 530 documents, proving the commitment of the Council of Ministers to the European integrations processes. The Chairwoman stressed that authorities were set-up at all levels, which is a condition for an accelerated reforms implementation. She also noted a priority amendment of the BIH Constitution and complete amendment of the Election Law of BIH, within six months at latest, which would secure constitutional equality for all three constitutive people. She added that it requires implementation of the BIH Constitutional Court award on legitimate representation at all administrative-political levels, as well as implementation of the European Court for Human Rights awards.

The European officials expressed their satisfaction with setting –up of all-level authorities, saying that Bosnia and Herzegvina enjoys their continuous support on its European road.

During the royal reception, Chairwoman Krišto met with Prince William and Princess Kate Middlton, and offered them sincere congratulations regarding tomorrow’s coronation of royal father King Charles III. (end)
