Chairwoman Krišto at Opening of New Paediatrics Hospital in Mostar

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto attended a solemn opening of the Mostar University Hospital Paediatrics Ward. 

In her address to the event, Krišto highlighted the importance of investment to promotion of health system and improvement of medical services.

“Development and furbishing of Paedatrics Hospital are the proof of investment to our heathl care system and high quality medical investments, Therefore sincere congratulations go primarily to management of the Mostar University Hospital, first of all to prof. dr. Anto Kvesić, who, recognising the importance and need of the paediatrics hospital development, gave immeasurable contribution and, in fact, reason to be here”, Chairwoman Krišto said.

She added that today’s event is an incentive for investment to project promoting development and growth of community, and it serves as an example to others to continue investing to infrastructure.

“May this event be an incentive for continuing investing to projects promoting growth of community, and may it serve as an example to other institutions to continue investing to improvement of health infrastructure, thus proving that health care is the basic right of every individual, as well as one among priorities in our programmatic aims”, Chairwoman Krišto concluded.

The overall investment to development and furbishing the new facility of Paediatric Hospital within the Mostar University Hospital is KM 34,514,782.50. Mostar-Duvno Bishop Petar Palić blessed the new building, and ribbon was cut by Vice-President of the BIH Parliamentarian Assembly House of People Dragan Čović and Health Minister of the Republic of Croatia Viili Beroš, accompanied by Dr. Ante Kvesić, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Bosnia and Herzegovina Osama bin Dakhila Al-Ahmata, and Head of the Ward Marija Novaković Bošnjak. (end)
