Chairwoman Krišto at Informal Meeting of Leaders of Region and EU in Athens

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto took part at an informal meeting of leaders of the Western Balkans and representatives of the European Union and EU member-states in Athens, hosted by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. 

The leaders’ meeting, followed by a working dinner, was organised 20 years after a historic meeting of the EU and Western Balkan counties, held in Thessaloniki in 2003, when it was acknowledged that the Western Balkans belongs to the European Union.

Participants of the informal Athens meeting, organised by Geek Prime Minister Kyriakos, are; Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto; President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić; Prime Minister of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovačevski; Prime Minister of Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković; President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović; Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kuirti; Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis; President of Ukraine Volodimir Zelenski; President of Moldova Maja Sandu; and Prime Minister of Romania Ion-Marcel  Ciolacu.

The participants were joined by President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. (end)
