Chairwoman Krišto and Ambassador Toudic on European Prospects of BIH

Speaking of activities of the new Council of Ministers of BIH, Chairwoman Krišto assessed affirmatively the kicked-off trend of sessions’ decision-taking good fluctuality, which allows for functionality of the state-level authorities. She added that first visits by the Council of Ministers members to Brussels and countries of the region practically prove determination for the European road and improvement of regional cooperation.
Ambassador Toudic congratulated to Chairwoman Krišto for her appointment, and stressed the French support to the EU prospects of Bosnia and Hrzegovina, along with the fulfilment of the remaining 14 tasks and priorities set by the European Commission. She added that France supports deepening of the Western Balkan countries concrete cooperation projects, especially the strengthening of regional cooperation and stability in the region.
The meeting assessed that cooperation between BIH and France as friendly and without outstanding issues, however with economic relations not at an extend and strength corresponding to French economy and its companies, nor to economic potentials and resources of BIH. A need was mentioned for a more intensive mutually beneficial economic cooperation.(end)
