Chairman Tegletija Talks with Ambassador with Sattler

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija held a video-link meeting with Ambassador and EU Special Representative in BIH Johanna Sattler. 

The meeting discussed the current developments in BIH concerning the fulfilment dynamics of requirements within 14 priorities from the European Commission Opinion on BIH application for membership in the EU, namely, public administration reform, implementation of EU-BIH Stabilisation and Accession Agreement, Corridor V c construction dynamics, socio-economic reforms in BIH, and vaccines delivery under the “EU4Health” mechanism.

Chairman Tegeltija reiterated the commitment of all-level authorities in BIH to the EU road, hopeful that the by soon overcoming of the pandemics-caused challenges, all-level authorities in BIH would be able to turn to the post-Covid recovery, socioeconomic reforms and improvement of citizens’ living standard, in addition to the fulfilment of the EU accession conditions, so that BIH might get a candidate status as soon as earlier. The Chairman thanked to the European Union for the engagement in vaccines procurement and delivery to BIH citizens.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman and Minister of Foreign Affairs of BIH Bisera Turković and Minister of Justice of BIJ Josip Grubeša.
